The Royal Velvet is our flagship prayer mat — woven from premium Turkish velvet with a hand-embossed Kaaba motif at the qibla point. Thick enough for prolonged sujood, with a breathable non-slip latex base that anchors on any surface. A mat for those who believe prayer deserves the finest.
Woven and finished in Pakistan by artisans who have spent decades mastering Islamic geometric patterns. Each piece passes through three quality checkpoints — pile density, backing adhesion, and visual symmetry — before it earns the Anislam name.
Brush the pile after each use in the direction of the weave. Fold along existing crease lines — never roll tightly.
Store in a breathable cotton bag, upright if possible. Shake outdoors weekly and air in indirect sunlight for twenty minutes.
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Blot stains immediately — never rub. Allow to dry fully before folding.
For 100% turkish velvet, latex base mats: vacuum monthly on low suction. Professional clean once yearly for silk and wool blends.
